Back To Media

We are excited to introduce the new additions to our fleet and the only kind in the entire Middle East Region – LRT 1090-2.1 and LRT 1100-2.1!
They are part of a major order from Al Faris for a total of 27 Liebherr cranes which will be delivered before the end of this year – 14 LRT cranes and 13 LTM cranes with a total value of over 23 million euros.

The two new cranes have simple and safe handling capabilities due to clearly layed out and self-explanatory controls with a 360 (degree) slewing range that allows unlimited turning. Both the cranes feature superb all-terrain manoeuvrability. The standard VarioBase® ensures that they deliver a high level of safety and performance.

We know that achievement and success aren’t by accident. At your career milestone, we honor your commitment to excellence!

Gilroy recalls joining Al Faris on 3rd December, 1992 and clearly remembers his first day at work. Al Faris at that point was only a start up with a few equipment.

Started as an operation coordinator to receive calls from clients and dispatch equipment, Gilroy progressively acquired increased technical skills and responsibilities resulting in several promotions, to the point where he was given an opportunity to set-up and handle Jebel Ali operations. With his dedication and enthusiasm to grow the business further, today the operation has a strong hold in Jebel Ali port with a large client base.

Gilroy states that over the last few years he has not only seen the company grow to great heights but has also personally gained more confidence in himself and capabilities. He values the effort put in by his team and takes immense pride in the growth of his branch.

‘My most memorable experience was my visit to Liebherr factory in Germany to see the manufacture of cranes’, says Gilroy. Completing 25 years with Al Faris along with his growth, is indeed his greatest milestone achieved which will be cherished forever.
